26th Dundee Scout Group
Welcome to our This Website is designed to give you information about the group, each sections within the group , how to join and keep you up to date with our current and future activities/events. The 26th Scout group are based in Dundee with the catchment area of the West End. We are currently the biggest group in Dundee with over 160 members. The group was first established on 30th September 1920 (had a break service from 1946 when it met as a patrol in the nearby 14th Ryehill, then re-registered on 3rd January 1958). The group link to the Discovery Ship came about when the Venture Unit started in 1987. The Unit took the name 26th (R.R.S. Discovery) Venture Scout Unit and with this, the ventures held their investitures on the ship and also helped maintain it.
