Beaver – 6 to 8 years
Beavers, try new things, make new friends, develop, and learn new skills, go on camps, are curious about what is around them. Have fun.
Beavers meet weekly in the hall in groups called colonies, there is never a normal night at beavers, they play games, make things, get messy, sometimes muddy, be inside or outside. The beavers will challenge themselves in new situations.
Beavers will have the chance to work towards many different badges that will give them many different skills and experiences. Activity badges range from Space to Cyclist, Challenge badges including My skills to Teamwork. Beaver over the 2 yrs. in the section will have the chance to obtain the Chief Scouts Bronze Award – the highest award in Beavers.


Activities
These include: Camping, building, Grass Sledging, Getting outdoors, Community Visits (Fire station) and pretty much anything the beavers can think of.

Parent Rota
In this section we run a parent rota to provide an extra pair of hands on the night. Don’t worry you will have support of the leaders and you might even have fun. The parent rota is randomly assigned, you are notified of your night via OSM (Online Scout Manager). If for what ever reason you can’t make the night please inform the leaders ASAP.
