Cubs – 8-10.5 years

Cubs, develop new skills. Soar to great heights. Being a cub opens another world. Have fun.

Cubs meet weekly in the hall in groups called packs, there is always something new to discover each night cubs, they will play active games, construct, cook, navigate, and led. The Cubs will challenge themselves to work with others.

Cubs will have the chance to work towards many different badges that will give them many different skills and experiences. Activity badges range from Scientist to water Activities, Challenge badges including Our Adventure to Personal challenge. Cubs over the 2 yrs. in the section will have the chance to obtain the Chief Scouts Silver Award – the highest award in Cubs.

Activities

These include Camping, Water activities, Grass Sledging, being outdoors, Community Visits (Fire station) and pretty much anything the cubs want to try or investigate.

Parent Rota

In this section we run a parent rota to provide an extra pair of hands on the night. Don’t worry you will have support of the leaders and you might even have fun. The parent rota is randomly assigned, you are notified of your night via OSM (Online Scout Manager). If for what ever reason you can’t make the night, please inform the leaders ASAP.
